Spiritual Leader Sathya Sai Baba passed away today 24th April 2011 morning. I beleive many of his followers and devotees must be deeply in sorrow. My deepest condolence.
No matter what, human forms must come to an end. That is nature. Whatever that will happen next is the 'Lord's issue. It is happening century by century. After heard the news I remember a saying by Buddha that sounds "Appa Dipo Bhava" which i'd read before from Osho's book. Just felt to share with you all.
APPA DIPO BHAVA —"Be A Light Unto Yourself'"
The last statement of Gautama the Buddha to his disciples was: Be a light unto yourself. They were crying and weeping, naturally the master was leaving and they had lived with the master for almost forty years; a few older disciples had lived with him the whole time. These forty years were of tremendous joy, of great experiences. These forty years had been the most beautiful time possible, humanly possible. These forty years had been days of paradise on earth. And now the master is leaving! It was natural, they started crying and weeping.
Buddha opened his eyes and said, “Stop crying and weeping! Have you not listened to me yet? Why are you crying?”
His chief disciple, Ananda, said, “Because you are leaving, because our light is leaving. We see, we feel darkness descending upon us. I have not yet become enlightened and you are leaving. If I could not become enlightened while you were alive, what is the hope for me now when you will be gone? I am in great despair, my anguish is incalculable, I have wasted these forty years. I have been following you like a shadow, it was tremendously beautiful to be with you, but now you are leaving. What is going to happen to us?”
Buddha said, “You are crying because you have not heard me yet. I have been telling you again and again: Don’t believe in me — but you have not listened. Because you have believed in me, and now I am dying, your whole structure is falling apart. Had you listened to me, had you created a light into your being rather than becoming knowledgeable through me, if you had experienced your own self there would have been no need to cry.
“Look at Manjushree!” he said — Manjushree was another disciple of Buddha, one of the greatest. He was sitting under a tree just close by, with closed eyes, so serene, so quiet, so utterly blissful, that Buddha said, “Look at Manjushree! Go and ask him why he is not crying.”
They asked Manjushree. He laughed and said, “What reason is there to cry? Buddha has helped me to know my own light. I am thankful, I am grateful, but there is no darkness descending. And how can Buddha die? I know I cannot die — how can Buddha die? He will be here. Just as a river disappears in the ocean he will disappear into the cosmos. But he will be here! He will be spread all over the cosmos. It is going to be something tremendously beautiful. Buddha was confined to a small body; now his fragrance will be released, he will permeate the whole of existence. I am tremendously happy that now Buddha will be spread all over space. I will be able to see him rising in the sun and I will be able to see him flying in a bird and I will be able to see him in the waves of the ocean… and I will be able to see him everywhere.
“He is simply leaving his body. It was a confinement. And how do I know it? I know it because I have known my own soul. I listened to him and you have not listened to him that’s why you are crying.”
Buddha said, “Let me repeat again APPA DIPO BHAVA be a light unto yourself.” Then he closed his eyes and disappeared into the cosmos. But his last statement was also his first statement. In fact that was his whole message the whole of his life he was repeating the same message again and again and again.

Water Therapy
WATER THERAPY
- Early morning, after you get up from bed, (without even brushing your teeth) drink 1.50 litters of water i.e. 5 to 6 glasses. You may wash your face thereafter.
- Here it is very essential to note that nothing else, neither drinks nor solid food of any sort should be taken within 1 hr. before and after drinking these 1.5 litters of water.
- It is also to be strictly observed that no alcoholic drinks shall be taken the previous night.
- Boiled and filtered water recommended to be used for this purpose. To begin with, one may find it difficult to drink 1.50 litters of water at one time, but one will get used to it gradually. Initially, while practicing you may drink four glasses first and then the balance two glasses after a gap of 2 minutes.Initially you may find the necessity to urinate 2-3 times within an hour, but it will become normal after quite some time.

HOW DOES PURE WATER ACT ?
Consuming ordinary drinking water by the right method purifies human body.It renders the colon more effective by forming new fresh blood, known in medical terms as Haematopaises.
That the mucousal folds of the colon and intestines are activated by this method, is an undisputed fact, just as the theory that new fresh blood is produced by the mucousal fold.
If the colon is cleansed then the nutrients of the food taken several times a day will be absorbed and by the action of the mucousal folds they are turned into fresh blood.
The blood is all-important in curing ailments and restoring health and for this water should be consumed in a regular pattern.

Brahma Muhurtam
As per Smritibhaskara, the last yaama of the night is the brahmamuhurtha. The night contains four yaamas. One yaama is equal to 7 1/2 nazhikas- i.e. 3 3/4 muhurthas. The last two muhurthas occur before sunrise. They are called brahmam and roudram. Brahma muhurtham is 4.30 A.M. in our time.
This time is called Brahma Muhurtham, referring to the fact that it has sacred energies for the worship of the Brahman inside you.Brahman here refers to the God-immanent in every sentient being.
This time is most fruitful as most of the people are asleep and even the animals are sleeping.
Meditation is a coherent flow of energy and is disturbed by the external atmosphere and other people's vibrations and thought forms. These things do not affect the meditator during Brahma Muhurtha.
The atmosphere is sacred because the vibrations of mind involved in world matters are not emitted from the people since they are in deep sleep. Mind is also a form of energy. Mind disappears in deep sleep. And swapna-mana has no real effect on the Jagrath-mana of the meditator. This has been proved even by modern radiogram studies.
The atmosphere is not polluted by the radiations of worldly feelings. At that time devotees awake and pray God. Their pure mental rays pervade all over the world and make the time sacred. Thus it becomes congenial and encouraging atmosphere.
After sunrise people awake and the materialistic mental radiations are emitted through their physical senses. The atmosphere is polluted. People will disturb you dragging you to materialistic discussions. Even by seeing their face, you will be affected. If you see a devotee, you become sacred. The mind and body are inter-related. Since mind is energy and energy is matter, even if you see the body, the mind in that body is emitted out affecting you. Therefore, avoid even the vision of materialistic people, not to say about their touch, conversation and co-living.
After sunrise when you worship God, close your eyes to avoid such people. But, their mental radiations spread all over the cosmos and are inevitable. It is better to walk in the early morning while singing devotional songs. Morning walk is good for health.
Apart from this, the mind desires dynamic condition of the body. The body was in static condition all over the night. Mind is always for a change. Satisfy the mind and you should not unnecessarily control the mind when it is not necessary.
You can pray God even without bath. Veda, Gita and the very first verse of Sandhyavandanam say that God can be worshipped irrespective of physical formalities.
After some time body is tired and the mind needs rest. By that time, sunrise is over. Now you sit at a place and worship God closing your eyes. Thus the time has its own invisible effect on the spiritual effort. Sattvam is prominent in the early morning. Rajas is prominent in the day time. Tamas is prominent in the night. Therefore early morning is the divine time called as Brahma Muhurtham.
Also, one more thing--Many Rishis, Siddhas, yogis, sants, sadhus, gupta sanchara yogis, Munis and mahapurushas living in the forests and other etheric planes connected to our Janma-bhoomi will be active during this time and shower their blessings upon us.This will not only aid material progress but also more importantly spiritual progress.
Jayosthu Rajarajajeshwari Amba!
Yours yogically,
Shreeram Balijepalli

This is our culture to wake up at early morning to pray and meditate. We practice this since 5000 years ago. Now other religions are doing it. They made it compulsory or heaven entrance will not be granted. Shall we
use the same tactic to our Indians to make them awake on early morning and pray too? Or we can gain it on one day rituals such as sacrifice a goat or other short cuts?
Thaipusam or Dancepusam?

Karma Of Present And Past Birth
At my place, there was an aunty age of 74. She was very humble and spiritual. The uncle passed away earlier of heart attack. Few years ago, her daugther passed away by accident after completed medicine and came back from India. Then her son passed away by accident too. Later she spend the rest of her life in spritual path and help others. Last week she was killed in her home by some burglars. On the other hand, there was a guy who have done almost all vice known to man till the age of 73 and passed away by heart attack too.
Does the life of the both person above is based on karma? Does people enjoy happy life and punished according to their acts no matter at present or past birth?
KARMA
Karma in Hinduism is also considered to be a spiritually originated law. Many Hindus see God's direct involvement in this process; others consider the natural laws of causation sufficient to explain the effects of karma. However, followers of Vedanta, the leading extant school of Hinduism today, consider Ishvara, a personal supreme God, as playing a role in the delivery of karma. Theistic schools of Hinduism such as Vedanta thus disagree with the Buddhist and Jain views and other Hindu views that karma is merely a law of cause and effect but rather is also dependent on the will of a personal supreme God. Examples of a personal supreme God include Shiva in Shaivism or Vishnu in Vaishnavism. A good summary of this theistic view of karma is expressed by the following: "God does not make one suffer for no reason nor does He make one happy for no reason. God is very fair and gives you exactly what you deserve."
Karma is not punishment or retribution but simply an extended expression or consequence of natural acts. Karma means "deed" or "act" and more broadly names the universal principle of cause and effect, action and reaction, that governs all life. The effects experienced are also able to be mitigated by actions and are not necessarily fated. That is to say, a particular action now is not binding to some particular, pre-determined future experience or reaction; it is not a simple, one-to-one correspondence of reward or punishment.
Karma is not fate, for humans act with free will creating their own destiny. According to the Vedas, if one sows goodness, one will reap goodness; if one sows evil, one will reap evil. Karma refers to the totality of our actions and their concomitant reactions in this and previous lives, all of which determines our future. The conquest of karma lies in intelligent action and dispassionate response.
One of the first and most dramatic illustrations of Karma can be found in the Bhagavad Gita. In this poem, Arjuna the protagonist is preparing for battle when he realizes that the enemy consists of members of his own family and decides not to fight. His charioteer, Krishna (an avatar of god), explains to Arjuna the concept of dharma (duty) among other things and makes him see that it is his duty to fight. The whole of the Bhagavad Gita within the Mahabharata, is a dialogue between these two on aspects of life including morality and a host of other philosophical themes. The original Hindu concept of karma was later enhanced by several other movements within the religion, most notably Vedanta, and Tantra.
In this way, so long as the stock of sanchita karma lasts, a part of it continues to be taken out as prarabdha karma for being experienced in one lifetime, leading to the cycle of birth and death. A Jiva cannot attain moksha until the accumulated sanchita karmas are completely exhausted. - wikipedia
Caste
There is millions type of flower around the world. Each flower has its own specialty. There will be no one in this world who could hate flowers.
Flowers are symbols of beauty, purity, freshness, fragrance and exct.exct. Flowers use to many purpose such as decoration, thanking someone, appreciating someone, for prayers and all of it are positive events. Wherever there is any good events there will be flowers. And flowers is the only object that is very close to God's statue/symbols at all temples or praying places. Jasmine, hibiscus, daisy, lily, olive, white rose, red rose, sunflower, violet, and no matter what it is called..... it is a flower.
And that is how human are categorized. Humans are differ with their own color, size, and appearance but humans are humans (spiritual person call it as souls).
Each humans are special according to their own skills and by their physical aspects. There is no such thing as hibiscus is low class and jasmine is high class or low class white rose and high class red rose. Same goes to human, we are created to be differ might be for some positive purpose and not for one human take advantage on another by discriminate them, that is negative. In another way the positive purpose that we are created might be not achieved by doing this. Well, the same physical look like humans divided within them is cause by caste, hence the power and the skills own by this group will be not known by the world. Unfortunately that is happening to the Indians. There is a phrase in malay saying that ' bersatu kita teguh, bercerai kita roboh'. No matter in what language it is said but we all know that, it is true and fact. The only thing which is blocking us to be united is the ego. A baseless ego.
Sri Ramana Maharishi used to tell that we must stop even use the word 'Naan' (me), because that is ego. Once there was an American philosopher who came to India and he heard about Sri Ramana Maharishi and he was so eager to meet him to have a debate. When he reached his asharam he couldn't meet Sri Ramana Maharishi as he was so busy and the American asked to come back tomorrow. Even on the next day he was not able to meet him and asked to come the following day. The third day he came aggressively and managed to meet Sri Ramana Maharishi. Once he entered the room, Sri Ramana Maharishi asked 'who are you'? He answered his name. And Sri Ramana Maharishi said, that is your name, now who are you? And he answered he is a philosopher and he asked again 'who are you' because he said that is his job. Then he answered he is from America and the saint said that is the place you came from, now who are you? He got confused and pinched himself and said this is me, me. And Sri Ramana Maharishi said, that is your body and who are you? He gave up at last and Sri Maharishi said its the ego when you brag of yourself, and the word 'Me' it self is a ego. We don't own anything here, we came with empty and will leave empty. We don't even know what will happen on the next moment.
Well it is so foolish when we categorize among ourself and be divided. And all of our skills, speciality, will be not known of the world and will be waste. So preach to our younger brothers and sisters..... 'JATHIGAL ILLAIYADI PAPA, KULAM TALTHI UYARTHI PESUVATHU PAVAM !!!'
